BUNKFACE!

Bunkface, local Malaysian band. The band members are Sam, Youk, Paan and Ejam Coda. Sam is the lead vocalist, Youk, the backup vocalist, Paan is the guitarist and Ejam Coda is the drummer.

They started of as a group of secondary school students from SMK Sri Andalas. The name "Bunkface" originated from the Sum 41 song, "Crazy Amanda Bunkface".

In 2006, Bunkface won first place in the Battle Of The Bands that was hosted by ROTTW, a Malaysian Music Magazine. The song, SILLY LILY was #1 on Hitz.fm's Malaysian Top Ten for 8 weeks and was #1 on Fly.fm's Campur Chart for 10 weeks. Their first Malay hit, Situasi, was #1 on XFresh.fm and stayed at #3 on Era.fm for 3 weeks. Bunkface won Rockstar, Break Out and The Ultimate Shout! Awards in the Shout! Awards hosted by 8TV.

Their latest English hit, Through My Window, joined the Everyone Connects campaign by TMNet during the advertisement. The song attracted a huge crowd to a public sing-along at Jalan Bukit Bintang which became the largest sing-along event in Malaysia!

The band members are known as Sam, Youk, Paan and Ejam Coda. Their full names are actually Shamsul Annuar (Sam), Muhammad Farouk Jafaar (Youk) and Ahmad Farhan Hashim (Paan).

THe All-American Rejects

This is The All-American Rejects. A band formed in Stillwater, Oklahoma in 1999. They have 3 albums, The All-American Rejects (2003), Move Along (2005) and When The World Comes Down (2008). Their genres are Alternative Rock and Power Pop. The band members are :-

Tyson Ritter, lead singer, had appeared in the Anna Faris movie, The House Bunny. Their song, I Wanna, was played in the movie. The All-American Rejects were ranked #73 on the Hot Artists of the Decade (2000's) In 2009, They performed in MTV's WORLD STAGE in Malaysia alongside with Pixie Lott, Raygun, Kasabian, Hoobastank, Boys Like Girls and local Malaysian band, Estranged.

Secondhand Serenade

Secondhand Serenade is an acoustic rock solo project fronted John Vesely who is the guitarist and vocalist. Secondhand Serenade begun in 2004 from Menlo, California. His music is classed as Alternative Rock, Acoustic Rock and Emo. Two albums have been released, Awake (2007) and A Twist In My Story (2008). Secondhand Serenade was announced #3 in the Rolling Stones' magazine reader's poll as Best MySpace Artist.

He had played shows with Hawthorne Heights and The All-American Rejects and also played with My Chemical Romance and Linkin' Park at Bamboozle. Fall For You was announced #8 in the US POP 100.

Wassup people? My name is Nikisya Toh from Malaysia. I am 12 this year. This year, I will be sitting for UPSR (Ujian Penilaian Sekolah Rendah) this year. My bestest friends are Jacey, Jenn, Athiyah, Sarah Anati and Vi Ann.

My favourite bands are The All-American Rejects, My Chemical Romance, Daphne Loves Derby, Fall Out Boy and Simple Plan. My favourite singers are Secondhand Serenade and Taylor Swift. I enjoy listening to music and reading books. I read books anytime, anywhere. While eating, listening to music, waiting for something load etc. My favourite author is Christopher Pike.

My Chemical Romance

My Chemical Romance. One of the best bands ever! Some of their best music are I Don't Love You, Kill All Your Friends, Helena, The Black Parade and The End.

"I think emo is garbage. I think there are bands that unfortunately we get lumped in with that are considered emo and by default that starts to make us me," quotes the lead singer, Gerard Way.
